Devised Theatre Technique

When: 28th August 2017 @7:00 pm2nd October 2017 @9:00 pm

28th Aug – 2nd Oct / 23rd Oct – Dec 11th

Devised theatre is a journey. We start with an idea, or a concept, a piece of text or an object… and dive into the abyss of the unknown.

Through rehearsed improvisation, specialist games, techniques and group exercises, we will foster our imaginative freedom and create work that is organic, original and dynamic. The devised theatre process allows opportunity to experiment and play, to explore possibilities and to work together to make exciting new theatre.

Devised Theatre Technique will focus on the method of devised theatre with different themes and exercises each week. There will be no final performance at the end of the 6 week block.

Devised Theatre Intensive will indulge in the wonderful process of devised theatre, journeying towards a final performance at the end of the 8 week block.

These courses are suitable for actors and non actors and are limited to 12 participants only.
