All of our rooms are light and spacious with marvellous views of our beautiful gardens and surrounding woodland.
We are able to meet a broad range of requirements with one single, two twin, one double, two triple and two quadruple rooms. Additional beds can be made available if necessary which fit comfortably in our well proportioned bedrooms.
Newbold House continues to preserve the grace and style of the late Victorian era. The soft colours and decor are influenced by the Scottish Arts and Crafts Movement and balance beautifully with the original carved wooden panels and fireplaces, elegant staircase, high corniced ceilings and stained glass.
This splendid setting, which is well maintained and loved by our conscientious community, offers a comfortable and peaceful environment for those wishing to quiet their busy minds and re-connect with themselves, each other and nature.
Our food is organic and as locally sourced as possible. Our menu is mostly vegetarian, but we do eat sustainably sourced meat and fish once a week. We do not cater for special dietary requirements other than gluten free, vegan diets and medical allergies. All of our guests have access to the Sanctuary, a meditative space, our library and the Pantry where a wide range of organic teas and coffees are available. Our laundry room is available at certain times of the day and there is plenty of parking adjacent to the house. Naturally, you are welcome to relax and play in our gardens at any time or step out of the back gate and explore the many woodland walks that are right on our doorstep.
