About Teresa and Cheryl
Teresa Syed. Spiritual name Harpurkh Kaur is a KRI certified Kundalini Yoga teacher and traditional acupuncturist as well as a soon to be D.A.R.E. therapist (a radical new approach that emotional healing).
She is impassioned about uplifting and elevating others through these sacred technologies. Through her yoga teaching and practice as well as her other work she aspires to“…to cultivate the creative spiritual potential of a human to uphold values, speak truth, and focus on the compassion and consciousness needed to serve and heal others.”
Teresa has a particular love for sacred chant (kirtan music) as part of the Kundalini Yoga tradition. She has observed how the music creates an atmosphere for deeper healing and connection.
Through her Kundalini Yoga practise Teresa has seen her creative impetus heightened. From time to time she runs combined yoga and creative workshops for you to explore or rediscover your own gifts.
Teresa is keen for people from all walks of life to come along to experience this amazing yoga practice. It is for everyone of any background (and no you don’t have to have done yoga before!). She extends
an open invitation to you, to take the opportunity to come together into a heart centred space to uplift yourself and others.
Cheryl Mason MSc, BA, MBACC, PGCHE
Cheryl Mason offers acupuncture and a range of complementary therapies at her clinics in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
She trained in Zen Yoga and meditation in 2012. Her main teacher, Zen Master Julian Daizan Skinner Roshi, studied in Japanese Zen monasteries for two decades. The practices are designed to foster health, well-being, physical and mental strength, as well as liberating insights into who and what we really are.
During Zen training, Cheryl became drawn to Gong and Sound healing techniques which she studied with Sheila Whittaker.
In 2015, she was awarded her Women’s Quest Leadership qualification, having studied over two years with the renowned author / facilitator Alexandra Pope, imparting the wisdom and skills to promote women’s health and psycho-spiritual growth.
During retreats Cheryl enjoys guiding women through meditations, visualisations, Zen yoga, yoga nidra and gong sound baths. Time for reflection and connection allows participants to gain new insights into their life . These retreats offer supportive conditions with a whole host of nurturing and relaxation opportunities.
