Mindfulness Tailored Retreats

Mindfulness is a path to balance and well-being. To be mindful is to be truly alive. This retreat offers a bespoke personal practice experience, as well as a breathing space where you can simply be. Combining Mindfulness meditation, yoga, outdoors experience and time to just relax, our team of qualified teachers will guide you through five days tailored to your individual needs. Whether you are new to Mindfulness or wish to take your next steps, this programme supports you in cultivating presence, inner resilience and joy.

We work with the core practices of sitting and walking meditation, encouraging kindness and self-compassion. You learn how to bring Mindfulness into every-day life, and a personalised practice plan will be developed to support your ongoing practice at home. Yoga sessions are aimed at strengthening your mindfulness of the breath and body and clarity of mind, guiding you into deeper embodiment. And finally, enjoy going wild with a guided outdoors experience in Scotland’s fine scenery.

There will be plenty of time to relax and unwind and to go for strolls through the fields and woods on our doorstep. What is Sivananda Yoga?

Yoga means union of the mind, body and spirit with the Divine and while this refers to a certain state of conciousness both individual and Universal, it is also a method to help one reach that goal.

One of the greatest Yoga masters of the 20th century is Swami Sivananda. The teachings of Master Sivananda are summarized in these six words:
Serve, Love, Give, Purify, Meditate, Realize.

The Sivananda practice is a traditional, exact and easy-to-learn system that aims at naturally achieving the goal through creating a healthy body and mind that leads to spiritual evolvement.
